In Saratoga for an Alfa featured marque show.
Hemmings Motor News held the Saratoga Springs Auto Show and reported over 60 Alfa Romeo's were in attendance. It was a very nice event, with many other fine automobiles and at a beautiful location. NYAROC had a number of attendees including our President, George Linton and Barbra in their GTV, John Catera and
Cornelia in the GTV 6, Dan Goldman and Annette in the Spider, Mike Bange in his GTV, Bob Rizzo in his GTV, Bert and Peggy Wong, Mike and Kathy Davies and Vic and Gail Cerami in our GTV. Lapsed NYAROC member Gino Agostino showed up with three Alfas, his Giulia Super, GTV 6 and GTV enlisting his son and son-in-law to help drive them up. The Historic Auto Museum tour included many fine and rare automobiles and was also enjoyed by all. At the show, top honors went to the Giulietta SS 1962 owned by Don Schwartzkopf which took 1st place and Best in Show! Second place was the Giulia Sprint GT 1966 owned by L. Paul Pitkin. Incredibly there were three beautiful SS's at this show: Red, White and Dark Blue! There was also a nice Montreal and a very nice 300 HP Supercharged Milano 3.0. NYAROC dinner following show event was beyond excellent at Mama Mia's hosted by restaurant owners Giuseppe and Lorie. And after a group of us enjoyed a stroll int o that very interesting town that is Saratoga Springs. Click here to see the PHOTO GALLERY
