The 2026 Amelia Island Concours
The Amelia Island's annual 4 day major auto event, held at the fabulous Ritz Carlton hotel and golf club. The proceeds go to charity. As usual the entire hotel and grounds were taken over by this event.
This is a Thursday through Sunday affair with numerous auto and related events including driving tours, main street shows, great auctions, exotic test drives, famous guest speakers, numerous merch and auto vendors, and one of the best concours.
Florida AROC Alfisti were the majority of Alfa club attendees. Including Mid-Florida Pres. Paul Gagne and wife with their 4C and NE Florida Pres. Marla Harris with her Giulia Super.
Alfisti Paul Wilson had his beautiful Alfa 6c 2500 creation on the show field for the concours and won a Class Award. Joe Nastasi attended but, for the first time, did not show any of his magnificent Tipo 33's. Other Alfa Romeo awards went to: an Alfa Romeo Ghia 1954 European Post-War Touring Class Award, and an Alfa Romeo 1900c 1952 European Post-War Sports 1.
Wayne Carini, (not yet an Alfisti), was everywhere and Donald Osbourne, (Alfisti), was a celebrity Judge and award presenter.
Chip Foose and Dario Franchitti held seminars and signed autographs.
Overall this was again a really great auto event with nice people in a beautiful location.

NYAROC 2025 Fall Driving Tour to Savino’s Hideaway
On November 23, NYAROC had its last driving event of the year – 2025 Fall Driving Tour to Savino’s Hideaway. The driving tour started at 9:30am at the Sweet Hollow Diner in Melville, and included 12 cars and 15 NYAROC members, including one new member, Panos Exarhos, who joined us with his beautiful new-to-him 2018 Misano Blue Giulia Quadrifoglio. The tour was led by NYAROC President, Anthony Intintoli, in his GTV6. The tour took us on a drive on the Sunken Meadow Parkway and through Kings Park with the first stop being the Kings Park Bluff where we took pictures overlooking the Long Island Sound. The tour then followed a scenic drive on the twisty backroads of Kings Park, Smithtown, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, Stony Brook Village, Port Jefferson, Setauket and Old Field with a second stop at the quiet and picturesque Old Field Lighthouse overlooking the Long Island Sound. We then ventured to Mount Sinai where the tour ended at Savino’s Hideaway. The drive was about 2 hours and 50 miles. Hoping to see everyone next year on other driving tours that we will be planning.
Amelia Island Concours 2025
The Amelia Island Concours 2025 was again held at Fernandina Beach, Florida. This year's colossal event was cut short by rain predicted on Sunday. The cars and community event was canceled and the main event, the Concours D'Elegance, was held on Saturday along with the Rad-Wood Festival.
NYAROC member Nick Cervera displayed his beautiful GTV 6 on the show field and long time Alfisti Joe Nastasi, Dave Ahlers and Vic Cerami were in attendance.
Amazing automobiles of every vintage and marque with the amazing 1938 Alfa Romeo 8c 2900 B awarded best in class.
Another great time was had by all.
